Private Jet Shima to Alexandria

A private crossing from Shima, on Japan’s Ise-Shima coast, to Alexandria on Egypt’s Mediterranean shoreline ranks among the longer itineraries a broker might arrange, covering approximately 5,110 nautical miles from departure at Chūbu Centrair Airport through to arrival at Borg El Arab International Airport. Given the sheer distance involved, an ultra-long-range aircraft is essential, and the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500 are the natural choices, both capable of spanning this route with minimal or no technical stop, cruising efficiently at altitudes up to 51,000 feet where thinner air and reduced traffic allow for a smoother, faster passage. Cabins on either type are designed with genuinely long sectors in mind, featuring separate rest and living zones, low cabin altitude for reduced fatigue, and the kind of quiet, stable ride that makes a journey of this length manageable rather than gruelling. Chūbu Centrair, built on reclaimed land in Ise Bay, offers an efficient and calm point of departure, while the arrival in Alexandria delivers travellers into a city with an entirely different rhythm and history. Once the intellectual capital of the ancient Mediterranean world, Alexandria still holds the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a striking modern tribute to the legendary library lost to antiquity, alongside the Graeco-Roman Museum’s collection of artefacts spanning centuries of layered civilisation. Its seafront corniche, lined with cafés and fishing boats, reflects a city that has always looked outward to the sea as Egypt’s principal port. This journey suits travellers seeking a genuine change of hemisphere and history within a single itinerary, pairing Japan’s precision and calm with Egypt’s ancient, sun-warmed complexity. Careful planning around crew duty limits and possible refuelling stops is advisable given the distance, and an experienced broker will coordinate these details discreetly on the traveller’s behalf.
