Private Jet Abacos to Tashkent

Abacos to Tashkent runs to approximately 6,344 nautical miles, a sector that calls for a true ultra-long-range aircraft. The Gulfstream G650ER meets the requirement well, its range comfortably covering the distance with fuel reserves intact, while its low cabin altitude at cruise helps limit the fatigue that a flight of eleven hours or more can otherwise cause. Departures use Leonard M. Thompson International Airport, serving Marsh Harbour and the wider Abaco Cays, a region better known for sailing regattas and the historic Loyalist settlements of Hope Town and New Plymouth than for long-haul aviation. Arrival in Tashkent brings a complete change of register, from the pastel clapboard cottages of the Abacos to a landlocked capital defined by broad Soviet-era avenues and a steadily modernising skyline. The old town persists around the turquoise dome of Chorsu Bazaar, where traders still deal in spices, dried fruit and handicrafts much as they have for generations, while Amir Timur Square provides the more formal civic heart of the modern city. Cruising near 45,000 feet, the G650ER rides comfortably above most weather along this route, and its wide, quiet cabin makes the many hours in the air genuinely restful. This routing suits travellers pairing an Abacos base with an entirely different kind of destination, and equally suits business passengers for whom a direct private connection avoids the impractical multi-stop alternative that a commercial itinerary would otherwise require. Visitors familiar with the Abacos’ close-knit sailing community often note how differently Tashkent’s dense, continental capital feels on arrival, a contrast that makes the long crossing feel like a genuine change of world rather than merely a change of coordinates. Sailing families based around Hope Town occasionally combine this kind of long-range routing with a wider circuit through Europe and Asia, treating Tashkent as an unusual but worthwhile addition.
