Private Jet Dallas to Shima

From the sprawling flatlands of North Texas to the pine-clad inlets of Shima, this Pacific crossing runs to approximately 5,780 nautical miles, one of the longer great-circle routings The Jet Collection arranges for clients bound for Japan’s Kii Peninsula. A Bombardier Global 7500 is the natural choice at this range, its four living zones giving passengers room to work, dine and rest properly across what is typically an eleven-hour sector depending on winds aloft. Cruise altitudes above 45,000 feet let the aircraft outrun weather systems that slower commercial traffic must contend with lower down, smoothing the ride considerably over such a long stage length. Flights depart from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, whose dedicated FBO facilities are well suited to swift, discreet processing ahead of a demanding long-haul sector. Shima rewards the effort of arrival: its coastline forms part of Ise-Shima National Park, and the sheltered waters of Ago Bay have supported cultured pearl farming since Kokichi Mikimoto’s early experiments there in the 1890s, an industry still visible from the shoreline today. A short distance inland stands Ise Grand Shrine, rebuilt every twenty years in an unbroken Shinto tradition stretching back centuries, and one of the reasons the area was chosen to host the G7 leaders in 2016. Kashikojima’s harbour towns serve some of the finest ise-ebi lobster and abalone in the country, plucked straight from the bay each morning. This routing suits travellers seeking an authentic, less-travelled corner of Japan, ideal for those who want the country’s cultural weight without the density of Tokyo or Kyoto, and who value privacy and cabin comfort on a genuinely demanding transpacific sector from the heart of Texas.
