Private Jet Brantford to Cavallo

A charter from Brantford to Cavallo covers close to 3,780 nautical miles, a sector well within reach of a heavy business jet such as the Bombardier Global 6000 operating out of Brantford Municipal Airport in southern Ontario. The aircraft’s transcontinental range and spacious cabin make it a sensible pairing for the roughly seven and a quarter hour crossing, with a cruise ceiling around 45,000 feet helping the flight stay ahead of the weather systems that regularly move across the North Atlantic. At journey’s end lies Cavallo, one of the Lavezzi islands scattered through the Bonifacio Strait between Corsica and Sardinia, a stretch of water famous among sailors for its swirling currents and among everyone else for its extraordinary clarity. The island itself has almost no built environment to speak of: sandy tracks link a small number of discreetly positioned villas, and granite headlands drop into coves where the sea shifts from pale turquoise to deep blue within metres. Cavallo has long been favoured by a European set that prizes privacy above visibility, and its owners have resisted the kind of large-scale development that has transformed much of the wider Mediterranean coastline. There is no ferry terminal crowding the shore and no queue of day-trippers, only the occasional yacht anchored offshore and villa terraces catching the last of the evening sun. For travellers departing southern Ontario, the route offers a genuine change of pace, trading familiar Canadian countryside for a Mediterranean island built almost entirely around quiet and open water, ideal for those planning a restorative break away from any fixed itinerary.
