Private Jet Mahé to Tempe

Seychelles International Airport serves Mahé, the largest island in an archipelago famous for granite boulder beaches like Anse Source d’Argent and a reputation as one of the Indian Ocean’s most exclusive destinations, its capital Victoria among the smallest in the world. The sector onward to Tempe runs close to 8,951 nautical miles, among the longest pairings in The Jet Collection’s network and one that typically calls for a technical fuel stop even aboard an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500. The route crosses the Indian Ocean and Africa before tracking over the Atlantic and Central America, descending finally into the Arizona desert, a crossing that generally runs well beyond sixteen hours in the air. Mahé’s warm, humid island climate gives way entirely to Tempe’s dry desert heat on arrival, among the more dramatic climatic contrasts flown on any route in this network. Leisure travellers extending a Seychelles honeymoon or resort stay make up much of the demand here, alongside a smaller number of conservation professionals given the islands’ prominent marine protection programmes. A private charter is, for practical purposes, the only realistic way to connect these two points without a multi-day, multi-stop commercial itinerary routed through several continents. Genuine sleeping arrangements on board make a measurable difference on a crossing this long, a factor worth discussing closely when the aircraft for this route is first selected. A final swim at Anse Source d’Argent or a walk through Victoria’s small botanical gardens is a fitting way to close out the stay before the long crossing begins.
