Deauville Normandie Airport (DOL), formerly Deauville Saint-Gatien Airport, is located about 7 km east of Deauville in the Calvados department of Normandy. It has one asphalt runway, 12/30, measuring 2,550 metres (8,366 feet), and sits at an elevation of 479 feet (146 metres) at coordinates 49.3652° N, 0.1545° E.
The airport stands on the plateau above the Côte Fleurie, inland from the coast between Deauville and Honfleur, and its long runway accepts aircraft from light jets to large business jets. Private traffic follows the calendar of the resort: weekends from spring to autumn, the August racing meeting at Deauville-La Touques and the yearling sales, and the American Film Festival in early September. Deauville, Trouville and the racecourses are around 10 minutes by road, and Honfleur around 15 to 20 minutes, so the airport is a practical alternative to the long drive from Paris on the A13 motorway. From Paris, the flight takes around 35 minutes. The Jet Collection arranges flights into Deauville with handling on arrival and a driver to the racecourse, the beach or your hotel.
