Private Jet Amalfi to Paradise Valley

The Amalfi Coast to Paradise Valley covers approximately 5,466 nautical miles, placing it firmly in ultra-long-range territory best served by an aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER, which can complete the crossing in one sitting at a cruise altitude of up to 51,000 feet. Departures typically originate from Naples International Airport or the smaller Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport, the latter useful for guests staying along the coast itself who want to avoid the drive to Naples. Either way, the aircraft’s range margin comfortably covers headwind scenarios on this westbound routing, a meaningful consideration on a flight of this length. Few regions capture the appeal of southern Italy quite like Amalfi, with its cliffside towns, lemon groves and the turquoise water of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and travellers wrapping up time there often want a direct route home rather than a European connection followed by a transatlantic leg on a different aircraft. Landing at Scottsdale Airport delivers guests straight into Paradise Valley’s dry desert climate, a striking change from the coast’s humidity, with golf, spa resorts and mountain views beneath Camelback replacing sea cliffs and terraced vineyards. This pairing suits travellers who divide their year between a European coastal retreat and a Southwestern base, as well as those closing out a Mediterranean holiday with a direct, private return rather than the multiple connections a commercial itinerary from this part of Italy would otherwise demand. Salerno’s smaller runway suits light-to-mid aircraft repositioning locally, but for this transatlantic distance most charters depart from Naples instead, where slot availability is more reliable. Guests arriving in Paradise Valley often schedule a few days of recovery at a resort spa before resuming a busier travel calendar.
