Private Jet Bella Coola to Pebble Beach Golf Links

Bella Coola’s small coastal airport, tucked beneath the Coast Mountains in central British Columbia, is around 973 nautical miles from Monterey Peninsula Airport and the fairways of Pebble Beach Golf Links. Given Bella Coola’s short strip and remote setting, this is turboprop or very light jet territory: a Pilatus PC-12 handles the terrain and distance with ease, while a Phenom 100 offers a faster, pressurised cabin for those who would rather arrive with more time before their tee time. Both aircraft can operate comfortably from Bella Coola’s runway, something larger mid-size jets are not built to do. The journey trades fjord-like inlets and old-growth forest for the wind-sculpted cypress and open Pacific views of the Del Monte Forest, landing guests close to the 17-Mile Drive and the cliffside holes that make Pebble Beach among the most photographed courses in the world. From Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea and the tidepools of Monterey Bay are a short drive away. This is a route for adventurous travellers and lodge owners in the Bella Coola Valley who split their year between remote fishing or wildlife trips and more conventional golf getaways, and for anyone who would otherwise face a long, multi-leg commercial routing through Vancouver just to reach the California coast. Given how remote Bella Coola is, the ability to reach a world-class coastal course directly, without routing through a major hub, is often the deciding factor for owners based there. Owners who keep property in both regions often find this the only practical way to move between them without losing the better part of a day to transit.
