Private Jet Berry Islands to Boise

The Berry Islands, a sparsely populated Bahamian chain, sit approximately 2,155 nautical miles from Boise, a sector well handled by mid-size jets such as the Citation CJ4 or Challenger 350, both capable of the roughly four-and-a-quarter-hour flight while cruising near 41,000 feet. Given the islands’ modest infrastructure and limited scheduled service, a private charter is by far the most practical way to reach this quiet corner of the Bahamas directly from a market like Boise. Departure is from Great Harbour Cay Airport, serving an island chain known for its exceptional bonefishing, quiet anchorages and general lack of large-scale development compared with more built-up parts of the Bahamas, for a route crossing the Gulf of Mexico, the southern Plains and the Rocky Mountain front before reaching Boise. Anglers and boaters make up a disproportionate share of visitors to the Berry Islands, drawn by flats fishing that ranks among the best in the Caribbean, a sporting pursuit that pairs naturally with Idaho’s own renowned fly fishing on rivers like the Snake and the Salmon. This route appeals particularly to fishing and outdoor-sports enthusiasts moving between two destinations known for their angling, private landowners with interests in both Bahamian and Idaho real estate, and travellers who prize the seclusion both destinations offer over the more crowded, developed alternatives nearby. The islands remain largely under private ownership, including a well-known stretch developed decades ago by a Hollywood studio executive, lending the Berries an air of discretion that suits their low-key visitor base. Great Harbour Cay’s single small marina and modest airstrip keep visitor numbers naturally limited, reinforcing the sense of exclusivity that draws repeat guests back year after year.
