Private Jet Berry Islands to Koh Samui

Berry Islands to Koh Samui runs approximately 8,690 nautical miles, connecting one of the Bahamas’ quietest island groups with a well-known resort destination on the far side of the Pacific and Indian Ocean basins. A Bombardier Global 7500, with its 7,700 nautical mile range and cabin designed for long-haul rest, is well matched to this sector, cruising comfortably above 45,000 feet for much of the crossing. Great Harbour Cay Airport, a small strip serving the Berry Islands, offers a discreet, low-traffic departure well suited to private aviation. Catering for a sector of this length is typically planned around two or three courses, matched to the time zones the aircraft will cross. Arrival in Koh Samui brings a marked change of scenery, from the flat cays of the Bahamas to an island of forested hills, coconut plantations and busy beach towns. The Big Buddha statue at Wat Phra Yai, visible from much of the island’s northeast coast, is often the first landmark guests notice on the approach into Samui International Airport, whose open-air terminal design remains one of the more memorable arrivals in private aviation. From there, the boutiques and restaurants of Bophut’s Fisherman’s Village are within easy reach. The island’s muay thai stadiums draw evening crowds most weeks of the year, a livelier alternative to the beach clubs along Chaweng. Given the scale of the journey, most guests flying this route are planning an extended stay in Thailand, whether for diving trips out to Sail Rock, excursions into Ang Thong Marine Park, or simply a long stretch of rest after departing the Bahamas. The Global 7500’s range and comfort make it possible to cover this considerable distance while arriving ready to enjoy the island rather than recover from the flight.
