Private Jet Bora Bora to Newark

Bora Bora, the jewel of French Polynesia, sits roughly 5,510 nautical miles from Newark, a distance suited to an ultra-long-range jet flown as a single extended leg. A Gulfstream G650ER or Global 6000 is well matched to the crossing, cruising near 45,000 feet for much of the Pacific portion of the journey. Departures use Fa’a’ā International Airport on nearby Tahiti, the practical gateway for the wider Society Islands, from which onward transfer connects to Bora Bora’s famous overwater bungalow resorts. Arrival into Newark Liberty International places passengers close to Manhattan, connecting one of the world’s most celebrated honeymoon and luxury leisure destinations with the New York metropolitan area. Demand on this route is almost entirely leisure-driven, peaking around the South Pacific’s dry season from May through October, when conditions for diving, sailing and lagoon excursions are at their finest. Given the roughly ten-and-a-half-hour flight time, this journey is planned as a single long-haul leg rather than a multi-stop itinerary, with the ultra-long-range cabin offering fully flat rest options that help travellers arrive ready to enjoy the islands rather than recovering from the journey itself. Honeymooners and milestone anniversary travellers make up a particularly large share of demand on this corridor, reflecting Bora Bora’s enduring reputation as one of the most romantic destinations reachable from the eastern United States. Private yacht charters within the lagoon are a common add-on for guests arriving by private aircraft, extending the exclusivity of the journey from the moment of arrival.
