Private Jet Brindisi to Capri

Brindisi to Capri is one of the shortest sectors in this collection at just 174 nautical miles, easily managed by a very light jet or turboprop, with a Phenom 100 or Pilatus PC-12 covering the route in around half an hour. Departing Brindisi Salento Airport on Italy’s Adriatic coast, the flight crosses the boot of Italy before descending toward the Bay of Naples, a journey so brief that many guests barely settle into their seats before the descent begins. Given Capri’s lack of a runway, arrival is completed by helicopter into Capri Heliport, generally via a short connection through Naples International Airport, though the overall transfer time remains minimal given how close the two points already are. The approach still delivers real drama despite the short flight, with the island’s cliffs and the Faraglioni rock stacks visible from the air well before touchdown. Travellers departing Brindisi, a region already well known for its own stretch of Adriatic coastline near Puglia, often use this route to sample Capri’s rather different character: a smaller, more concentrated island built around fashion, history and a car-free pace that Puglia’s broader coastal towns do not replicate in quite the same way. The Blue Grotto remains an essential stop for first-time visitors, while the Piazzetta offers an evening scene unlike anywhere else on the Italian coast. Given how little time this route consumes, it suits guests already touring southern Italy who want to add Capri without disrupting a wider itinerary, treating the island as a swift and worthwhile detour rather than a major undertaking. The brevity of the crossing also makes it a natural pairing with a broader tour of Puglia and the Amalfi coast on either side of the visit.
