Private Jet Calama to Pebble Beach Golf Links

Calama’s El Loa International Airport, gateway to Chile’s Atacama Desert, lies roughly 4,649 nautical miles from Monterey Peninsula Airport, a crossing suited to a heavy business jet. A Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000 both have the range to make the journey non-stop, cruising well above the weather for a flight of around nine and a half hours, with cabins designed for genuine long-haul comfort along the length of the Americas. Arriving guests trade the Atacama’s stark, high-altitude desert for the wind-sculpted cypress and cliffside fairways of Pebble Beach Golf Links, with the 17-Mile Drive offering an easy scenic loop on arrival. Carmel-by-the-Sea’s restaurants and galleries sit a short drive from the course, and Monterey Bay’s kelp forests and sea otters give the coastline its own distinct character, a marked change from the desert left behind. This route suits Chilean mining executives and golf enthusiasts building a trip around the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am or a broader tour of California’s Central Coast, and given the length of the crossing, most parties plan for a multi-day stay, using the extra time to recover before the first round. Calama’s role as a mining hub means many travellers on this route combine business meetings in California with the golf trip itself, making efficient use of the long journey north. Given the crossing involved, most parties also set aside time to rest before their first round on the course. Many extend the visit with a stop in the Napa Valley before the long return journey south to Chile.
