Private Jet Exumas to Antalya

Linking the Exumas with Antalya calls for a flight of around 5,301 nautical miles, a long transatlantic crossing that joins this celebrated chain of Bahamian cays with the Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey. Distances of this order belong to the ultra-long-range cabin, and aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER and the Bombardier Global 7500 are the natural choice. Both carry the range to span the ocean without a technical stop and cruise as high as 51,000 feet, where the ride is smoother and the miles pass more quickly, and both provide cabins built for endurance, with room enough to work, dine and sleep across the many hours aloft. Departures are arranged from Exuma Airport, whose relaxed setting and private handling make for an unhurried start to the journey. Travellers arrive at Antalya Airport, the principal gateway to the Turkish Riviera. From the famously clear waters of the Exumas, Antalya offers a coast of a different character: the old quarter of Kaleiçi winding down to its stone harbour, the Roman landmark of Hadrian’s Gate and a coastline of turquoise Mediterranean beneath the Taurus Mountains. Nearby lie the resorts of Belek and Kemer, the beaches of Side and the great ancient theatre at Aspendos, offering leisure and history in equal measure. This pairing suits discerning travellers moving between two prized warm-water destinations, whether for an extended holiday or private business, and it benefits from chartered scheduling to link a quiet island group with the eastern Mediterranean. The ultra-long-range aircraft that serve the route make a considerable distance feel manageable, carrying passengers across the Atlantic in privacy and quiet and setting them down refreshed on the Mediterranean shore.
