Private Jet Hadibu to Huntington Beach

Hadibu, the main town on the remote island of Socotra off the coast of Yemen, lies an extraordinary 7,997 nautical miles from Huntington Beach, placing this among the most demanding routings The Jet Collection is asked to arrange. Covering that distance requires an executive airliner or converted long-range widebody of the type typically found at the very top of the ultra-long-range category, with multiple fuel stops generally necessary given Socotra’s isolation and the limited infrastructure at Socotra Airport, from where flights depart. These aircraft cruise at altitudes that can reach 45,000 feet or higher on their oceanic legs, carrying enough range on each sector to make the most of favourable routings while keeping total journey time as low as the distance allows. Socotra itself, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its otherworldly dragon’s blood trees and endemic wildlife, could scarcely be more different from the destination: Huntington Beach, a sun-drenched stretch of the Southern California coast known for its surfing heritage, its mile-long pier, and its relaxed beach-town atmosphere. Arrivals land at John Wayne Airport, within easy reach of Orange County’s business districts and the yacht harbours of nearby Newport Beach. This is a route for the committed adventurer or researcher travelling from one of the world’s most untouched islands to one of its most developed coastlines, and given the complexity of routing, permits and fuel planning involved, it demands considerably more lead time than most charter itineraries. The Jet Collection’s team works through each leg individually to assemble a journey of this scale with care.
