Private Jet Hammond to Serengeti

Hammond’s route to the Serengeti covers approximately 7,255 nautical miles, a sector well matched to the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500, both offering the range and cabin comfort needed for a crossing of this length. Hammond Northshore Regional Airport, serving the area north of Lake Pontchartrain, provides straightforward handling for a private jet departure of this scale, with local operators experienced in the paperwork a long-range international sector requires. Arrival at Seronera Airstrip brings passengers into the very heart of Serengeti National Park, close to the Seronera River’s permanent flow, which sustains resident wildlife regardless of season. Elephant, giraffe and a wide variety of antelope gather along the watercourse, particularly in the drier months when surface water elsewhere becomes scarce, while the surrounding grassland favours cheetah hunting in the cooler hours of the morning. The park’s granite kopjes, weathered outcrops scattered across the plains, remain among the most photographed features of the Serengeti’s landscape. For Louisiana travellers, a private routing removes the need to connect through a major hub on a scheduled itinerary, offering instead a single, considerably more comfortable long-haul sector that arrives directly into the plains. Many clients extend the stay to include the Ngorongoro Crater as part of a broader Northern Tanzania circuit, making the most of a journey of this distance. Given the length of this crossing, most crews plan the technical stop to allow a proper rest period, ensuring passengers arrive in reasonable shape for the early starts typical of Serengeti game drives. Many Louisiana travellers also treat this considerable distance as reason to plan an extended, multi-camp stay within the park.
