Private Jet Madrid to Lexington

Madrid and Lexington lie roughly 3,620 nautical miles apart, a sector well within reach of a heavy jet such as the Gulfstream G550 or Bombardier Global 6000. Both aircraft are built for exactly this kind of non-stop Atlantic crossing, with cruise altitudes approaching 45,000 feet and cabins long enough to include a proper rest area, useful on a flight of around seven hours. Fuel reserves on either type comfortably absorb typical winter headwinds without requiring a technical stop in the Azores or Newfoundland. Departure is from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, the Spanish capital’s main international airport, where a dedicated general aviation terminal keeps private departures separate from scheduled traffic. Arrival is into Blue Grass Airport, gateway to Lexington and Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, an area known internationally for thoroughbred breeding, historic horse farms and a dense cluster of bourbon distilleries within easy driving distance of the airport. Downtown Lexington and the Keeneland racecourse are both close by, making ground transfers simple on arrival. The route is a natural fit for those with interests spanning Spanish business circles and Kentucky’s equine or distilling industries, as well as travellers who prefer to bypass the congestion of larger East Coast gateways in favour of a direct inland arrival. As with any transatlantic sector of this length, slot availability at Madrid during peak periods and appropriate customs pre-clearance on the US side are worth confirming well ahead of departure, and The Jet Collection’s advisors manage both as a matter of course. Spanish business travellers making this journey regularly combine it with a short repositioning stop, and the Blue Grass Airport arrival keeps ground transfer times into Lexington itself to a matter of minutes.
