Private Jet Mahé to Akron

Mahe, the largest island in the Seychelles and home to the capital Victoria, lies roughly 7,638 nautical miles from Akron, a distance that places this pairing in executive-airliner territory, flown in a large-cabin aircraft configured for extended range with a technical fuel stop typically planned across the Atlantic or Middle East. Mahe’s granite peaks rise directly behind beaches regularly ranked among the most beautiful in the world, and Seychelles International Airport serves an archipelago whose isolation in the western Indian Ocean has long made it a byword for exclusivity. Arriving passengers land at Akron-Canton Airport, close to a city whose own character was built on rubber rather than tropical isolation. Goodyear, Firestone, and BF Goodrich all operated major facilities in Akron, and the University of Akron’s polymer science department continues that research tradition today. Those with time to spend can tour Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens or spend an afternoon at Lock 3 Park downtown. Given the distance and remoteness involved, this pairing tends to suit honeymooners and private clients returning from an exclusive Seychelles holiday, for whom a direct, uninterrupted sector in a private cabin is considerably more appealing than the multiple connections a commercial itinerary between these two points would otherwise require. The Seychelles’ strict conservation policies have kept large-scale development off much of the archipelago, and many clients combine a stay on Mahe with a short inter-island flight to Praslin or La Digue before the long return crossing to the United States. Clients often remark that the approach into Mahe, over turquoise water and granite peaks, ranks among the most memorable in the network.
