Helicopter Transfer Monterey to Pebble Beach Golf Links

At just nine nautical miles, the shortest possible way to reach Pebble Beach Golf Links from Monterey Peninsula Airport is by helicopter, and an Airbus H130 makes the crossing in about a quarter of an hour, lifting off from the airport apron and setting down close to the course itself. Rather than a conventional point-to-point transfer, this is best understood as a scenic connector: a way to move quickly between the airport, hotel properties along 17-Mile Drive, and the course without the delays of ground transport during a busy tournament week. From the air, passengers get a brief but striking view of the Del Monte Forest’s wind-bent cypress trees, the cliffside holes that have hosted the U.S. Open and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and the kelp forests visible just offshore in Monterey Bay. This short hop suits tournament organisers and VIP guests who need to move between venues quickly during the Pro-Am or the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, hotel groups shuttling guests between properties along 17-Mile Drive, and anyone who simply wants an aerial view of one of the most photographed stretches of coastline in American golf before landing for a round. It is less a transportation solution than a small luxury in its own right, and many guests treat it as part of the Pebble Beach experience rather than a purely functional transfer. Because the flight is so brief, it works best as a complement to a longer trip rather than the centrepiece, adding a memorable few minutes to an itinerary built primarily around golf, dining, or the Concours.
