Private Jet Proserpine to Virginia Beach

Few charter sectors are as demanding as the roughly 8,291 nautical miles separating Proserpine, gateway to Australia’s Whitsunday Islands, from Virginia Beach on the American east coast. Covering this distance in a single aircraft calls for the executive airliner category, a converted widebody fitted with auxiliary fuel tanks and a full sleeping cabin, since even an ultra-long-range purpose-built jet cannot bridge the gap non-stop with a useful payload. In practice, operators typically route such a journey with one technical stop for fuel and a crew change, most often somewhere across the Pacific Rim or North Asia, before continuing on towards the Atlantic seaboard. Departing from Whitsunday Coast Airport, passengers begin in one of Queensland’s most scenic corners, close to the Great Barrier Reef and the sailing waters of the Whitsundays. Arrival some fifteen and three-quarter hours of flying time later lands guests at Virginia Beach Airport, within reach of the Atlantic boardwalk and the naval installations that define Hampton Roads. Given the scale of the journey, this pairing suits travellers for whom time in the air is secondary to the discretion, flexibility and continuity of a private cabin over what would otherwise be two or three separate commercial legs and a significant layover. A fully appointed executive airliner offers a proper bed, a dining area and enough space to work or rest properly across such a long crossing, making it the only sensible way to link two destinations on almost opposite sides of the globe without breaking the journey into a multi-day ordeal through connecting hubs.
