Private Jet Punta Arenas to Kelowna

Punta Arenas to Kelowna covers approximately 6,666 nautical miles, one of the longer Americas crossings in the network, requiring an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500, both suited to a flight typically running eleven to twelve hours. Cruising at altitudes up to 51,000 feet allows these jets to sit above much of the weather along the length of South America and the eastern Pacific during the long transit north. Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport, serving Chile’s Patagonian gateway city, handles private departures capably despite its position at one of the southernmost reaches of the continent. Given the distance, the routing may include a fuel stop before continuing to Kelowna International Airport in British Columbia’s interior. Arrival trades Patagonia’s glaciers, fjords and windswept plains for the vineyard-covered benches of the Okanagan Valley, where Okanagan Lake supports an increasingly celebrated wine industry. A stay often includes tastings at Mission Hill, golf at Predator Ridge, or hiking the trails around Knox Mountain overlooking the lake. This route suits travellers with interests in Patagonian tourism, fishing or conservation looking to connect with Western Canadian agriculture and real estate, as well as those undertaking an extended Americas itinerary. Given the exceptional distance involved, operators plan the crossing with particular care, confirming fuel reserves, alternates and crew rest requirements well ahead of the scheduled departure time, since a journey of this length allows little margin for improvisation. Kelowna’s farm-to-table restaurant scene and its lakeside Cultural District round out most visits, offering a relaxed pace quite different from the raw landscapes of Patagonia left behind.
