Private Jet Punta Arenas to Omaha

Punta Arenas sits near the southern tip of Chile, and the route to Omaha, at approximately 5,822 nautical miles, is one of the longer South American sectors flown in this network. Departing from Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport, an airport built to handle Patagonia’s fierce crosswinds, the journey favours an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 6000, both able to cover the distance without a fuel stop while cruising near 45,000 feet, above the turbulence that can affect lower-flying traffic near the Andes and the Southern Ocean. Endurance and stability matter more than outright speed on a route that spans nearly the full length of two continents, and experienced crews will typically plan the routing well in advance to make the most of prevailing winds. Eppley Airfield delivers passengers into a city whose fortunes have long been tied to grain, cattle and rail, much as Patagonia’s economy has depended on sheep, energy and increasingly on tourism to its glaciers and national parks. Omaha’s Old Market district, with its converted warehouses and cobbled lanes, offers a compact base for meetings, while Berkshire Hathaway’s downtown headquarters continues to draw investors from across the hemisphere. Travellers making the journey from Punta Arenas are typically involved in energy, agriculture or scientific research given the region’s remoteness, and for them the appeal of private charter is straightforward: there is no realistic scheduled alternative that connects these two cities without multiple stops, several time zones and the better part of two days lost in transit, time that a direct charter simply removes from the itinerary.
