Private Jet Revelstoke to Palawan

Revelstoke Airport, deep in British Columbia’s interior mountains, sits at the head of a 6,118 nautical mile route to Palawan, a distance well within the reach of a Gulfstream G650ER. Its close to 7,500 nautical mile range provides ample margin, while cruising well above 45,000 feet keeps the aircraft clear of much of the weather and congested traffic that could otherwise slow a journey across the Pacific, and its refined cabin pressurisation helps passengers arrive noticeably less fatigued than on a conventional airliner. Revelstoke’s small but dedicated charter clientele, often drawn from the region’s skiing and mountaineering community, tend to appreciate landscapes on a grand scale, and Palawan delivers one built from limestone and coral rather than granite and glacier. Puerto Princesa, the province’s capital, sits beside a calm bay and provides the practical infrastructure for onward travel to El Nido’s celebrated lagoons, the mangrove waters of Honda Bay, or the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, an eight-kilometre navigable cave recognised among the New7Wonders of Nature. Offshore, the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park protects one of the richest coral ecosystems in the Coral Triangle, drawing dedicated divers by liveaboard. Palawan’s long isolation from the rest of the Philippine archipelago has preserved forests home to species found nowhere else on the planet, from hornbills to freshwater crocodiles. The route suits travellers who value genuine remoteness at both ends of the journey, whether the aim is diving, wildlife or simply an unhurried island retreat. A private departure from Revelstoke avoids the drive to Calgary or Vancouver, consolidating the journey into a single, efficient crossing to one of the Philippines’ most protected provinces.
