Private Jet Sedona to Akron

Sedona’s striking red-rock landscape gives way, after a 1,477-nautical-mile flight, to the quite different green hills of northeast Ohio, a crossing well suited to a mid-size or super mid-size jet such as a Citation Latitude or Challenger 350. Both aircraft handle the roughly three-hour flight with a cruise altitude well above the weather systems common to the high desert in the early stages of the journey. Departures use Sedona Airport, perched on a mesa above the town and known among pilots for views as dramatic as any in the American Southwest, before the flight settles east across the Rockies and the plains toward Akron-Canton Airport. On arrival, travellers can visit Glendale Cemetery, the resting place of Goodyear founder Frank Seiberling and numerous other figures from Akron’s industrial past, a quietly historic counterpoint to the natural drama left behind in Arizona. This route suits leisure travellers extending a Sedona retreat with business or family interests in Ohio, as well as real estate and hospitality executives connecting Arizona’s resort economy with the Midwest. The super mid-size cabin’s extra room proves its worth over a flight of this length, giving passengers space to stretch out fully rather than simply endure three hours in a cramped seat after an active few days spent hiking the red-rock trails. For wellness and hospitality executives who divide their time between Arizona’s resort economy and business interests further east, the direct flight spares a connection through Phoenix or Denver that would otherwise consume the better part of a travel day on either end of the trip.
