Private Jet Serengeti to Akron

The 6,655-nautical-mile route from the Serengeti to Akron pairs one of Africa’s great wildlife landscapes with the industrial Midwest, a crossing suited to an executive airliner such as an Airbus ACJ350XWB, whose long range and wide cabin comfortably cover the roughly thirteen-hour flight, typically routed with a brief technical stop in Europe to optimise fuel and crew rest across such a considerable distance. Departures use Seronera Airstrip, a remote bush strip deep within Serengeti National Park, from which safari guests are flown out after days spent tracking the region’s wildlife. Arrival into Akron-Canton Airport brings a fitting echo of the journey’s beginning: the Akron Zoo maintains active conservation partnerships supporting African wildlife protection efforts, giving departing safari guests an unexpected point of connection between the landscape they have just left and the city they are arriving in. This route suits safari operators, conservation organisations and private travellers extending an East African trip with business or family interests in the American Midwest. The executive airliner’s scale and comfort matter considerably on a route this long, allowing a travelling party to recover from days of early starts and long game drives before arriving ready for whatever the next stage of the journey demands, rather than stepping off the aircraft as exhausted as when they boarded in the bush. For conservation organisations and safari operators whose fundraising and partnership work increasingly reaches into the American Midwest, a direct long-range charter removes the days of connections that a commercial itinerary from this remote corner of Tanzania would otherwise require of every trip.
