Private Jet Simpson Bay to Tashkent

Simpson Bay to Tashkent covers approximately 6,370 nautical miles, a distance that sits comfortably within the capabilities of a purpose-built ultra-long-range jet. The Gulfstream G650ER handles the mission well, its considerable range providing genuine reserves for a crossing of eleven hours or more, and its low cabin altitude at cruise noticeably reducing the fatigue such a long sector can otherwise cause. Departures use Princess Juliana International Airport, the St Maarten strip famous for its low approach over Maho Beach, a striking start to a journey that could hardly end in more different surroundings. Arrival in Tashkent brings a landlocked Central Asian capital built around broad Soviet-planned avenues, its skyline gaining fresh towers as Uzbekistan pursues investment in finance and technology alongside its long-standing cotton industry. The old town persists nearby, anchored by the Kukeldash Madrasah and the ever-busy Chorsu Bazaar, whose turquoise dome has sheltered traders for generations. Cruising near 45,000 feet, the G650ER stays well above most weather along this route, and its wide, quiet cabin makes the many hours aloft considerably more manageable than the distance alone might suggest. This route suits travellers pairing a St Maarten base with an entirely different kind of destination, and equally suits business passengers for whom a private, non-stop connection avoids the impractical multi-stop itinerary that reaching Central Asia commercially from the Eastern Caribbean would otherwise involve. The approach into Simpson Bay, low over sunbathers on Maho Beach, remains one of the most photographed departures in the Caribbean, a memorable start to what becomes, over the following eleven hours, an entirely different kind of journey altogether. Owners based in St Maarten occasionally combine this routing with a wider itinerary through Europe or the Gulf, using Tashkent as a considered, comfortable staging point along the way.
