Private Jet Stuttgart to Cavallo

A distance of 452 nautical miles separates Stuttgart from Cavallo, a sector well suited to a very light jet such as the Phenom 100 or Citation Mustang, typically completing the flight in around an hour at a modest cruise altitude appropriate for a crossing of this length over the western Alps and down to the Ligurian coast. Stuttgart Airport offers efficient handling for private departures, serving as a practical gateway for travellers based in southern Germany’s industrial and business corridor. The route then continues by short helicopter transfer to Cavallo itself, a granite island within the Lavezzi Nature Reserve in the Strait of Bonifacio between Corsica and Sardinia, since no fixed-wing strip serves the island directly. Stuttgart’s identity as a centre of German engineering and manufacturing makes for an interesting contrast with Cavallo’s total absence of industry, offering instead a handful of villas, one quietly excellent restaurant, and water so clear that the seabed remains visible at considerable depth. German business travellers increasingly use this route for genuine weekend disconnection, valuing the roughly hour-long flight time as a small price for a setting that feels worlds away from boardrooms and factory floors. The island’s summer season draws steady demand from across Germany and neighbouring countries, so early booking of both legs of the journey, the jet and the connecting helicopter, is advisable during the peak months. For travellers who want Mediterranean seclusion without a long-haul commitment, this route strikes a particularly efficient balance between distance and reward. Southern Germany’s generally settled summer weather also makes this a reliable route for tightly planned itineraries, with weather-related delays out of Stuttgart uncommon during the peak charter season.
