Private Jet Vence to Augusta

Nice Côte d’Azur to Augusta is a 4,032 nautical mile transatlantic sector, flown by a Gulfstream G650ER in roughly seven and a half hours while cruising at altitudes up to 51,000 feet, well above the congested airspace and shorter-haul traffic typical of the French Riviera’s own regional network. The G650ER’s range comfortably covers this crossing with reserve to spare, an important margin given the variable weather systems that can affect both the eastern Atlantic and the American Southeast in equal measure depending on season. Vence, tucked into the hills above Nice, has long attracted artists, writers and a quietly wealthy international set drawn to the French Riviera’s particular blend of light and landscape, and a portion of that same clientele extends its travels toward Augusta, particularly around the Masters Tournament each April, when Augusta National Golf Club commands attention across the golfing world. The tournament’s reputation for tradition and restraint appeals to a European audience already well acquainted with the Riviera’s own understated luxury. Once in Georgia, visitors typically find their way to the historic Broad Street district and Savannah River waterfront, a compact, walkable introduction to a city built on a very different scale from the Riviera’s glamorous coastline. The G650ER’s spacious cabin and genuine long-range endurance make the seven-and-a-half-hour crossing feel considerably shorter than the distance would suggest, arriving passengers ready rather than depleted. Riviera-based operators note that demand on this corridor holds up surprisingly well outside the traditional April peak, buoyed by a steady trickle of business travellers whose interests extend well beyond golf alone.
