Private Jet Vence to Grand Rapids

Vence and Grand Rapids are separated by roughly 3,824 nautical miles, a distance that calls for an ultra-long-range jet. A Gulfstream G650ER covers this transatlantic crossing comfortably in a single hop, its cabin engineered to ease the fatigue of a roughly seven-and-a-half-hour journey between the French Riviera and the American Midwest. Cruising above 45,000 feet keeps the aircraft well clear of weather for much of the Atlantic crossing. Departures use Nice Côte d’Azur, France’s second-busiest airport and the principal gateway to the Riviera. Vence, set in the hills above Nice, is known for its artistic legacy, including the Chapelle du Rosaire designed by Henri Matisse, and offers a quieter alternative to the busier coastal resorts of Cannes and Nice themselves. Grand Rapids presents a contrasting Midwestern setting on arrival, a city shaped by generations of furniture manufacturing and now equally known for craft brewing and the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. Arrivals land at Gerald R. Ford International Airport. This route suits art lovers and travellers drawn to the quieter hill towns above the Riviera, as well as business travellers with interests in French luxury goods or finance, for whom a direct private charter avoids the multiple connections that commercial service between these two specific cities would otherwise require. The hill towns above Nice, including Vence and neighbouring Saint-Paul-de-Vence, have attracted artists for generations, drawing comparisons to a smaller, quieter version of the glamour found along the coast itself. Matisse himself considered the chapel his finest work, a modest but deeply personal commission completed late in his life.
