Private Jet Yellowstone to Santa Clarita

From the geysers and forested plateau of Yellowstone to the chaparral hills of Santa Clarita is a run of 721 nautical miles, short enough that a very light jet or turboprop covers the ground in around an hour and a half. The Embraer Phenom 100 and the Pilatus PC-12 both suit this kind of sector well, the PC-12 in particular valued for handling shorter or higher-altitude strips near the park with ease before descending into the lower elevations of Southern California. Departures use Yellowstone Airport, situated just outside West Yellowstone and one of the more seasonal fields on this page, busiest through the summer months when the park itself draws its largest crowds, before the aircraft tracks southwest across Utah and Nevada. Santa Clarita receives the flight roughly thirty miles north of downtown Los Angeles, a valley built around the Santa Clara River and long favoured by film crews for its historic ranch properties, Melody Ranch foremost among them. Six Flags Magic Mountain and the oak-studded trails of Placerita Canyon round out the valley’s appeal to visitors and residents alike. Passengers land at the area’s own heliport, well clear of the congestion around the region’s larger commercial airports. The pairing particularly suits travellers closing out a Yellowstone trip with a fast transfer into Southern California, as well as production crews and equipment scouting Western landscapes on both ends of the route, who gain a direct connection between two locations that no commercial airline routing links with anything close to the same convenience.
