2007 Bombardier Learjet 40XR

The Learjet 40XR is the extended-range, higher-performance development of the Learjet 40, a shortened derivative of the Learjet 45 that keeps the same stand-up cabin cross-section in a lighter, faster airframe. Uprated Honeywell TFE731-20BR engines give it a strong climb straight to FL450, a high-speed cruise around Mach 0.81 and roughly 1,700 nautical miles of range with four passengers, while improved hot-and-high takeoff weights widen the airport map. Inside, six to seven passengers travel in a genuine light-jet cabin with a flat floor, external baggage compartment and the ramp presence that has always been part of the Learjet name.
