Private Jet Naples to Vence

Naples, on Florida’s Gulf coast, lies approximately 4,302 nautical miles from Vence, a transatlantic distance generally flown by a heavy business jet in around eight hours and fifteen minutes. Departure from Naples Airport, a field well accustomed to the seasonal traffic of southwest Florida’s wealthiest residents, allows for quick, unhurried handling before the aircraft climbs north-east toward the open Atlantic, typically settling near a cruising altitude of 45,000 feet for the bulk of the crossing. After making landfall over the Iberian Peninsula, the flight continues on to Nice Côte d’Azur, from where Vence sits a short drive into the Alpes-Maritimes hills. There, an old town still enclosed within traces of its medieval ramparts surrounds a cathedral of ancient origin, while a short walk further stands the Chapelle du Rosaire, the chapel Matisse spent four years designing in his final decade, treating every surface from the stained glass to the vestments as part of a single work. The countryside beyond climbs gently toward Grasse, long the heart of French perfume production, while Cannes, Antibes and Monaco remain within easy reach along the coast for those extending their stay. Given the length of this crossing and the shift from Florida’s humid warmth to a Mediterranean summer, cabin comfort and a well-planned schedule matter considerably, and crews typically arrange catering and rest periods with the long flight in mind. This route suits Naples-based owners with a second residence in the south of France, along with charter guests seeking a direct alternative to the multiple connections a scheduled itinerary through a major hub would otherwise demand, preserving the privacy each end of the journey is chosen for.
