Given the almost total absence of practical scheduled alternatives linking Thailand’s islands directly with Peru, a private charter remains the only genuinely efficient way to make this journey. Koh Samui’s own busy resort season can affect ground handling turnaround at the island’s compact private terminal, so building in a small buffer before the long onward sector is generally a sensible precaution when planning the full itinerary from the outset.
