Private Jet Exumas to Paradise Valley

Exumas to Paradise Valley measures roughly 1,981 nautical miles, a sector well suited to a Mid-Size or Super Mid-Size Jet, with the Citation Latitude or Challenger 350 covering the distance in around three and three-quarter hours while cruising near 45,000 feet. Exuma Airport serves an archipelago celebrated for the improbably clear waters of its cays, from the swimming pigs of Big Major Cay to the protected waters of the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park. Arrival into Scottsdale Airport delivers passengers into Paradise Valley, trading Exuma’s scattered limestone islands for the desert resort spas and golf courses set beneath the McDowell Mountains. At just under four hours, a well-equipped Mid-Size cabin with full galley service handles the crossing comfortably, suited to travellers moving between two distinctly different but equally photogenic retreats. This route is used chiefly by boat owners, villa guests and increasingly by a wave of high-profile visitors drawn to Exuma’s reputation as one of the Bahamas’ most exclusive island groups, many of whom maintain a base in the American Southwest as well. Scheduled service into Exuma remains limited and rarely connects usefully with Arizona, making chartering the practical choice for anyone unwilling to route through Nassau or a Florida gateway first. Whether the purpose is a few days of sailing among the cays or a longer stay at one of the island’s private resorts, this route offers a direct link between two of the more considered luxury destinations in their respective regions. Exuma’s careful protection of its cays under the Land and Sea Park has helped preserve exactly the kind of untouched scenery that first drew private visitors here, and repeat guests often cite that same restraint as the reason they keep coming back year after year.
