Private Jet Amalfi to Mesa

The distance between Amalfi and Mesa comes to approximately 5,468 nautical miles, a journey best suited to the longest-range business jets available. Departing from Naples International Airport or Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport, an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Global 7500 makes the crossing in around ten and a half hours, cruising near 45,000 feet across the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and the North American continent with enough fuel reserve to accommodate typical winter headwinds on the westbound leg. Arriving at Mesa Gateway Airport places travellers in Arizona’s East Valley, close to the Superstition Mountains and a wide selection of desert golf resorts. Spring training baseball has become something of a local institution, and the Mesa Arts Center provides a cultural counterpoint downtown, while the Salt River offers tubing and hiking through Tonto National Forest, a landscape as dry and rugged as the Amalfi Coast is lush and vertical. This route appeals to travellers concluding a stay along Italy’s dramatic southern coastline before continuing on to business or leisure commitments in the desert Southwest, a pairing of two landscapes that could hardly be more different in character. Given the near total absence of practical scheduled connections between these two points, the private option is less a matter of convenience than the only realistic way to complete the journey in a single day, sparing passengers the multiple connections a commercial itinerary would otherwise demand. Wine and hospitality-industry travellers moving between the Campania region and Arizona’s own growing tourism sector also feature among the route’s users, drawn together by a shared reliance on scenery and seasonal visitor demand despite the vast distance separating them.
