Private Jet Proserpine to Riverside

Covering some 6,276 nautical miles, the journey from Proserpine to Riverside is among the longest on the network and calls for an executive airliner such as a converted Boeing Business Jet or Airbus ACJ, aircraft built to carry a full cabin crew and a comfortable passenger complement across the Pacific with a technical stop for fuel. Whitsunday Coast Airport serves the gateway to Australia’s Whitsunday Islands, a region better known for reef diving and sailing than for private aviation, giving departures a relaxed, low-key character. On the Californian end, Riverside Municipal Airport delivers travellers into the Inland Empire, a valley whose citrus-growing past is preserved in orchards near the Mission Inn Hotel, whose Spanish Revival towers have anchored downtown Riverside for well over a century. An executive airliner’s cabin typically includes a private stateroom, full galley, and space for a dozen or more passengers to work or rest across the roughly twelve-hour crossing, a genuine benefit given the distance and time zone change involved. Arriving passengers are close to the University of California, Riverside and the Box Springs Mountains, with onward road access to Palm Springs and the wider Los Angeles basin. This route suits tourism and resort industry executives connecting the Whitsundays with Southern California’s hospitality sector, as well as travellers extending an Australian holiday into an American one, who value the comfort of a private cabin over the multiple connections a commercial itinerary of this length would otherwise require through Sydney or Los Angeles. Given the scale of the crossing, most operators build in a rest period at the technical stop, allowing passengers to arrive in Riverside genuinely refreshed rather than simply having endured a long day of travel.
