Private Jet Eleuthera to Tempe

North Eleuthera Airport serves a narrow, hundred-mile-long island famous for the Pink Sands of Harbour Island, a short boat ride offshore, and for the pineapple farms that once made Eleuthera the centre of the Bahamian export trade. The sector onward to Tempe covers approximately 1,938 nautical miles, a distance well suited to a mid-size jet such as the Challenger 350 or Citation Latitude, cruising near 45,000 feet for a flight that typically runs just under three and a half hours. The route crosses the Gulf of Mexico before descending into the Arizona desert, trading Eleuthera’s pink-tinged shoreline for Tempe’s dry desert heat and the university energy surrounding Arizona State University. Leisure travellers extending a stay at one of Eleuthera’s boutique resorts make up much of the demand on this pairing, alongside owners of the private villas that line much of the island’s eastern coast. A direct charter avoids the Nassau connection that a commercial itinerary between Eleuthera and Phoenix would typically require, consolidating what might otherwise be most of a day’s travel into a single continuous sector. A mid-size cabin’s genuine stand-up height and proper galley suit a flight just under three and a half hours particularly well. Arrival in Tempe often leads directly on to a round of golf at one of Scottsdale’s resort courses, a fitting pairing with a week spent on Eleuthera’s quieter stretches of coastline. A final afternoon on Harbour Island’s Pink Sands, reached by a short boat ride from the main island, is a popular way to close out the visit.
