Paphos International Airport (PFO) is located near the villages of Timi and Acheleia, south-east of Paphos on the south-west coast of Cyprus, and about 60 km west of Limassol. It has one asphalt concrete runway, 11/29, measuring 2,700 metres (8,855 feet), and sits at an elevation of 39 feet (12 metres) at coordinates 34.7183° N, 32.4850° E.
Owned by the Republic of Cyprus and operated by Hermes Airports, Paphos is a joint civil and military airport, with a National Guard air base on its north-eastern side. It is the second airport of Cyprus and is busiest with leisure traffic from spring to autumn. The runway suits light jets through to large business jets. For private flights, Paphos is the closest airport to the resort hotels and villas of the west coast, Coral Bay, the Akamas peninsula and the hill villages towards the Troodos mountains, and it offers a practical alternative to Larnaca for Limassol, around 45 minutes away by motorway. The UNESCO-listed archaeological sites of Kato Paphos are a short drive from the terminal. The Jet Collection arranges flights into Paphos with handling and transfers to Limassol, Paphos or the Akamas coast.
