Tallinn Airport (TLL), officially Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, is located on the eastern shore of Lake Ülemiste, about 5 km south-east of Tallinn city centre. It has one runway, 08/26, measuring 3,480 metres (11,417 feet) with an asphalt and concrete surface, and sits at an elevation of 131 feet (40 metres) at coordinates 59.4133° N, 24.8325° E. The runway is among the longest in the region and accommodates every business jet category, as well as large airliners.
A business aviation hangar complex opened at the airport in 2014, with five hangars and room for nine aircraft, including midsize business jets and a large corporate aircraft, and a general aviation terminal stands beside the hangars. The airport is one of the closest to its city in Europe: the old town and the business district are around 10 minutes away by car, and the Ülemiste City business campus is next door. Tallinn is also a useful stop on Baltic and Nordic itineraries, with Helsinki around 25 minutes away by air and Stockholm about an hour. The Jet Collection arranges flights to Tallinn with handling, hangarage where needed and cars to your meeting or hotel.
