Private Jet Alexandria to Sun valley

Alexandria and Sun Valley lie roughly 5,911 nautical miles apart, a distance that calls for an ultra-long range jet such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500, both able to complete the crossing in a single sector with cabin space to spare. Borg El Arab International Airport, west of Alexandria along Egypt’s Mediterranean coast, offers a quieter alternative to Cairo for private departures, and the climb out heads north across the Mediterranean and Europe before the long Atlantic crossing toward North America. Cruise altitudes up to 45,000 feet or higher, available to these ultra-long range types, help shorten the effective flight time and smooth the ride over an eleven-hour-plus sector. Alexandria’s layered history, from its Greco-Roman past to its position as Egypt’s principal Mediterranean port, gives way on arrival to the considerably younger story of Sun Valley, a resort town built from the 1930s onward around skiing rather than antiquity. The route suits travellers extending a stay in Egypt into an Idaho ski season, or business groups working across North African and Mediterranean markets before a mountain retreat further afield. Given the distance, an ultra-long range cabin’s rest areas and work suites are not an indulgence but a practical necessity, allowing passengers to arrive at Friedman Memorial Airport ready for the slopes rather than needing a day to recover from an eleven-hour flight. Passengers departing Alexandria often combine the city’s harbourfront corniche and its famous library with a final Mediterranean lunch before the long transatlantic leg begins, treating the flight itself as a deliberate pause between two very different chapters of the same trip.
