Private Jet Alexandria to Vancouver

Alexandria’s Mediterranean waterfront and Vancouver, Washington’s Columbia River shoreline sit almost exactly opposite one another on the globe, separated by 5,962 nautical miles of near continuous flying. Departing from Borg El Arab International Airport, west of the city, this route demands an aircraft built for genuine intercontinental range rather than a fuel stop in Europe or Canada. The Gulfstream G650ER, with a published range approaching 7,500 nautical miles, is the natural choice, cruising in the mid 40,000s where thinner air and calmer weather translate into a smoother, quieter cabin for the better part of a day aloft. Its stand up cabin and dedicated rest suite matter enormously on a sector this long, allowing passengers to arrive functional rather than merely present. Alexandria itself rewards a lingering visit before departure. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina stands as a modern tribute to the ancient library that once made the city a centre of scholarship, while the Qaitbay Citadel occupies the site of the vanished Pharos lighthouse, one of the ancient world’s seven wonders. At the other end of the flight, Pearson Field receives arrivals into a very different landscape. One of the oldest continuously operating airfields in the United States, it sits directly on the Columbia River, within sight of Portland, Oregon, and a short drive from the forested slopes of the Cascades and the volcanic profile of Mount Hood. This is a route suited to travellers whose business or curiosity genuinely spans continents, executives connecting Egyptian trade or energy interests with the Pacific Northwest’s technology and timber economies, or private travellers seeking an unhurried, well rested transition from the ancient Mediterranean to the young, river cut landscapes of the American West. Both cities, in their own way, have long depended on water, the Mediterranean shaping Alexandria’s history and the Columbia shaping Vancouver’s present.
