Private Jet Basel to Anaheim

The Basel to Anaheim route measures approximately 5,110 nautical miles, a sector suited to a heavy business jet such as the Gulfstream G550 or Global 6000, both offering the range for a non-stop crossing along with a cabin comfortable enough for the roughly nine-and-three-quarter-hour flight. Departures from EuroAirport, shared by Basel, Mulhouse and Freiburg, benefit from dedicated business aviation facilities, useful for travellers connected to the region’s pharmaceutical and chemical industries who need discretion and speed. The aircraft cruises at altitudes up to 45,000 feet for much of the journey, generally above the weather systems affecting the North Atlantic. On arrival, John Wayne Airport places passengers within Orange County, close to the Anaheim Convention Center, Angel Stadium and the Packing District’s dining scene, with the coast at Huntington Beach not far beyond. The mild, sunny Southern Californian climate offers a welcome change from the more temperate conditions of the Swiss-French-German border region. Given the length of the sector, an evening departure allows travellers to make full use of the lie-flat cabin, landing in California rested rather than fatigued from the crossing. This route sees steady use among pharmaceutical and life sciences executives travelling between the Basel region, home to some of Europe’s largest drug manufacturers, and the biotechnology and entertainment sectors of Southern California, as well as families extending a European trip into an American theme park holiday. Flying privately from EuroAirport avoids the connecting hub a commercial itinerary would typically require, keeping the group and its luggage together for the entire transatlantic and transcontinental journey.
