Private Jet Berry Islands to Fayetteville

The Berry Islands to Fayetteville sector covers roughly 565 nautical miles, a short hop well suited to a light jet such as the Phenom 300 or Citation CJ4, both able to complete the crossing in around ninety minutes, or a turboprop such as the Pilatus PC-12, a popular choice for this pairing given the short runways common throughout the Bahamian out islands. Departure is from Great Harbour Cay Airport, serving a quiet cluster of islands in the northern Bahamas known for sport fishing, secluded beaches and a small but devoted community of private landowners. The routing crosses a short stretch of open water and the Florida peninsula before arriving at Fayetteville Regional Airport, close to Fort Bragg and the 82nd Airborne Division. Fayetteville’s downtown, rebuilt around the historic Market House and Cross Creek, includes Segra Stadium and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. This route is almost entirely a leisure pairing, serving property owners and sport fishing enthusiasts with ties to the Berry Islands, many of whom value the turboprop’s ability to operate comfortably from the shorter runways typical of this part of the Bahamas. Charter demand rises during the winter fishing season, and brokers generally recommend a turboprop over a jet for this specific pairing given the runway conditions at the departure end. Brokers also note that fuel and ground handling at Great Harbour Cay remain modest compared with larger Bahamian gateways, making advance coordination a sensible precaution for this out-island route. Travellers unfamiliar with the out islands often benefit from an operator’s local knowledge when arranging ground transport onward from the airstrip itself.
