Private Jet Berry Islands to Modesto

At approximately 2,303 nautical miles, the route from the Berry Islands in the Bahamas to Modesto in California’s Central Valley sits well within the comfortable range of a mid-size jet, with the Bombardier Challenger 350 or Citation Latitude both offering more than enough legs, cruising efficiently in the low forties and covering the distance nonstop under typical conditions. Departing Great Harbour Cay Airport, a quiet strip serving one of the least developed corners of the Bahamian archipelago, travellers leave behind a scattering of low-lying cays prized by anglers for some of the best bonefishing flats in the western Atlantic and by boaters for their protected, uncrowded anchorages. The mid-size cabin, while more compact than a super mid-size equivalent, still offers a private lavatory, a proper galley and enough room for a small group to work or rest comfortably across the several hours this crossing takes. Arrival at Modesto City-County Airport places passengers in the middle of Stanislaus County, a region defined by its almond orchards, dairy farms and the Tuolumne River, which supplies irrigation across the San Joaquin Valley. The city’s downtown arch, dating to 1912, remains a well-known local landmark, and the E&J Gallo Winery has anchored the local economy here since the 1930s. Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area are both within about ninety minutes by car. This pairing suits sport fishermen and second-home owners in the Berry Islands who also maintain business or family ties in Northern California, offering a direct route that avoids the inconvenience of connecting through Nassau or Miami on the way to the West Coast.
