Private Jet Berry Islands to Timphou

The Berry Islands to Timphou sector covers approximately 7,534 nautical miles, a distance that sits beyond the range of the Gulfstream G650ER and calls instead for the Bombardier Global 7500, which offers the additional margin needed to complete a crossing of this scale, cruising at altitudes up to roughly 45,000 feet under typical wind conditions. Great Harbour Cay Airport, a small strip serving this quiet corner of the Bahamas, provides the initial departure point, though a repositioning to a larger regional airport is often necessary before the long intercontinental leg can begin. Given the considerable distance involved, careful planning around payload, fuel and routing remains standard practice, and prospective travellers should discuss realistic timings and any potential technical stop with their operator well ahead of departure. The eventual arrival, at Paro International Airport, brings guests to one of the more demanding airports anywhere in commercial use, set within a steep Himalayan valley and surrounded by peaks exceeding 18,000 feet, with landings restricted to a small pool of specially certified pilots. Bhutan’s constitution requires at least sixty percent forest cover nationwide, a rule that underpins its rare status as a carbon-negative country. Thimphu, a short transfer from Paro, remains the only national capital anywhere without a single traffic light, its busiest junctions still directed by hand. This considerable sector suits travellers prepared for a genuinely long-haul undertaking, with the spacious cabin of an ultra-long-range jet making the many hours involved as comfortable as such a distance allows. Given the technical demands of a sector this long, prospective travellers are encouraged to discuss aircraft selection and realistic overall timings with their operator well in advance of departure.
