Private Jet Beverly to Shima

Beverly Regional Airport, on Massachusetts’s North Shore, is a popular alternative to Boston’s busier fields, and from here the Shima Peninsula lies a substantial 5,953 nautical miles distant. This kind of distance calls for an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Bombardier Global 7500, both able to fly the roughly eleven-and-a-quarter-hour crossing non-stop while cruising up to 51,000 feet on sections of the route where airspace allows. Beverly’s proximity to Boston’s business community, paired with its lighter general-aviation traffic, makes for a swift and private departure ahead of a genuinely long transpacific leg, one that often begins in the early evening to make the most of the overnight routing. Arrival is into Chūbu Centrair, the offshore airport serving Nagoya, from where the Shima Peninsula lies within easy reach along Japan’s Ise-Shima National Park coastline. The region hosted the 2016 G7 summit at a hotel overlooking Ago Bay, a reflection of the setting’s combination of natural seclusion and genuine prestige. Pearl cultivation remains central to the local economy and identity, tracing back to Kokichi Mikimoto’s experiments here in the 1890s, and visitors can still watch the ama divers who harvest shellfish and seaweed using techniques handed down for centuries. Ise-Jingu’s forested shrine grounds, considered the most sacred in Shinto, sit a short drive to the north. North Shore travellers extending business into Japan, or families seeking a coastal retreat well away from the more familiar Tokyo circuit, both find this a well-matched non-stop pairing between two very different Atlantic and Pacific shorelines.
