Private Jet Bichkek to Lake Como

Few routes on this network cover as much ground as Bishkek to Lake Como, a sector of around 2,729 nautical miles that calls for an ultra-long-range aircraft such as the Gulfstream G650ER or Global 7500, both capable of cruising above 45,000 feet and completing the journey in a single hop of roughly five and a half hours without a technical stop. Departure is from Manas International Airport, set against the backdrop of the Ala-Too mountains that rise sharply behind Bishkek, a city whose Soviet-era boulevards sit at the edge of one of Central Asia’s great mountain ranges and along a historic branch of the Silk Road. The flight path crosses a vast stretch of Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Balkans before descending into Milan Malpensa Airport, from where Lake Como is a short transfer away. Arriving guests often head first to Como town itself, whose lakeside promenade and Gothic-Renaissance Duomo offer an immediate sense of place before the exploration of the wider lake begins by boat or steamer. The cabin comfort of an ultra-long-range jet matters considerably on a sector this long, and both aircraft types offer flat-bed seating and a quiet cabin suited to rest or work over the course of the flight. This route is best suited to travellers making a single, well-planned journey between Central Asia and northern Italy, trading mountain ranges for a rather different and gentler alpine landscape at the far end of a genuinely long day of flying. Business travellers connecting Central Asian mining or energy interests with European partners increasingly favour this direct sector, avoiding the layovers that commercial routing through Moscow or Istanbul would otherwise impose on the journey.
