Private Jet Boston to Capri

Boston lies approximately 3,670 nautical miles from Capri, a crossing comfortably within range for a Gulfstream G550 or Global 6000, both able to cruise near 45,000 feet across a flight of roughly seven hours from Logan International Airport, serving one of America’s oldest cities and a region with its own deep-rooted sailing and summer-house culture along the New England coast. Passengers land by helicopter into Capri Heliport, directly above the town, and are within a short walk of the Piazzetta, where café tables fill each evening in a ritual that has held its character for generations, not unlike the summer rituals of Boston’s own coastal communities. The Certosa di San Giacomo’s fourteenth-century cloisters offer a quiet counterpoint nearby, while the Faraglioni stacks and the Blue Grotto’s shifting blue light remain the two sights most first-time visitors prioritise, typically combined into a single boat trip along the coastline in the calmer waters of morning. History runs deep on the island’s eastern side too, where the ruins of Villa Jovis recall Emperor Tiberius’s decision to govern Rome from this clifftop retreat nearly two thousand years ago, a history considerably older than anything in New England. Anacapri, reached via the Monte Solaro chairlift, offers a higher, quieter vantage point with views across the Bay of Naples toward Vesuvius. Given the length of this transatlantic sector, both recommended aircraft offer flat-bed cabin comfort suited to arriving ready for an evening out. This route suits Boston-based travellers seeking a direct link between two coastal cultures shaped, centuries apart, by history and by the sea. Many extend the visit with a short boat trip along the coast toward Sorrento or the wider Amalfi Coast.
