Private Jet Cannes to Porto Heli

From Cannes Mandelieu Airport, the flight to Porto Heli spans approximately 826 nautical miles, a sector well handled by a Phenom 300 or Citation CJ4 in around one hour forty-five minutes at cruise altitudes near 43,000 feet. Cannes, forever associated with its film festival and the palm-lined Croisette, gives departing guests a glamorous send-off before the aircraft turns east across the Ligurian and Ionian seas toward the Peloponnese. Mandelieu’s coastal position and efficient handling for private aircraft make it one of the more convenient departure points on the French Riviera, particularly during the summer season when road traffic along the coast can be considerable. Porto Heli offers a quieter counterpart to the Riviera’s energy, its harbour built around villas and boutique hotels rather than the see-and-be-seen culture of Cannes itself. The nearby island of Spetses, with its horse-drawn carriages and car-free streets, and the ancient theatre at Epidaurus both reward a short excursion from the marina. Kalamata International Airport is available as an alternative arrival for this route, useful when Porto Heli’s own field is at capacity. Riviera-based travellers frequently use this route to extend a French summer into a Greek one, moving a yacht or joining a chartered vessel already positioned in the Argolic Gulf. The light jet’s quick turnaround at Mandelieu makes same-day repositioning entirely practical, a point valued by owners who split a single summer between the two coasts rather than committing to one destination for the whole season, particularly given how straightforward customs and handling formalities remain at both ends of this well-travelled route.
