Private Jet Canyon Point to Chandler

Canyon Point and Chandler are both, in their own way, gateways to the Arizona that draws visitors from around the world, one at the edge of Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon, the other at the heart of the Phoenix Valley, and the Citation CJ4 links them in well under an hour. Covering 226 nautical miles from Page Municipal Airport, the small field that serves travellers visiting the Glen Canyon area, the CJ4 barely needs to reach its optimum cruising altitude before beginning its descent, though even on so short a sector it comfortably operates above 30,000 feet, keeping the ride smooth over the Mogollon Rim and the high desert plateau that separates northern and central Arizona. As a light jet built for exactly this kind of short, efficient hop, it carries a family or small group in comfort without any of the excess a larger aircraft would bring to so brief a flight. The arrival end suits the route’s typically relaxed, holiday-oriented passenger. Chandler Municipal Airport functions as a general-aviation reliever field, generally quieter and less congested than Phoenix Sky Harbor, making it a straightforward, unhurried place to land after a few days spent among Page’s red rock scenery. Many passengers use the route to bookend a wider Arizona itinerary, pairing the drama of the Colorado Plateau with the comforts and connectivity of the Valley before continuing home or on to a further destination. It suits families returning from a canyon-country holiday as readily as photographers and outdoor travellers who have spent their trip further north, offering a short, easy final leg that closes out an Arizona journey without adding travel fatigue to the very end of it. Even at such a modest distance, the convenience of avoiding a long desert drive back down to the Valley is not lost on passengers who have already spent a week or more exploring the state’s more remote corners.
